Tournament Results:

Extreme bass held their tournament on Saturday, February 6, 2010.  Ladies and Gentlemen this is what it's all about - check out the results as follows:

Sysco Foods, Inc. held their corporate bass tournament for their employees and supervisors on Saturday, February 6, 2010. They are pictured below:

Pictured below is 1st place winner for Sysco foods tournament, Rob Padget. Rob caught 4 fish totaling 3.65 lbs. Pictured below is Clay Boxem (Sysco) who caught 2 fish weighing 3.33 lbs. The Sysco tournament was unique in that instead of a weigh in at the end of the day, they weighed every hour and released the fish every hour.

Bass and Crappie (Speckled Perch) fishing for week ending Saturday, January 30, 2010 has been outstanding.   Yozuri Rattl'n Vibe, 5/8 oz, Tennessee Shad color continues to perform well approx 100 yards off of the West side of the lake roughly one mile South West of Tracy's Point.  Also wild shiner fishing has been awesome.  Several anglers limited out yesterday on both wild shiners and Rat'l Traps.  John and Kathy Chauncey from South Dakota are pictured below with some nice fish caught on Friday, January 29, 2010 using wild shiners.  All were caught at the mouth of Big and Little Jones Creek.

Photo above taken Jan 31, 2010. Fish caught at 1:00 p.m. by Orpha Hurst using a Yozuri Rattl'n Vibe. Orphas' grandson, Jake Crowder ( Lake Pans most popular Bass Guide) assisted Orpha landing this nice 7.1 lb lunker.  Fact is that Orpha taught Jake all he knows about fishin.  Go Orpha!!!!

Photo above taken on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Angie and Eddie Esch had a nice day landing two 4 pounders and one 6.1 lb fish.  They were wild shiner fishing.

Speckled Perch (Crappie) fishing is on folks! Pani Creek has slowed down some, however Big Jones Creek has been hotter than a match.  Fish with live minnows and we've got plenty of em.

Speckled Perch (Crappie) Fishing is great right now.  Pictured below is Allen Croft with a nice stringer taken out of Pani Creek between Turtle Back RV and Basswaters Tackle shop. Also Crappie fishing has recently picked up in Big Jones Creek. - use live minnows (available in our tackle shop) and drift.
